Do you have a new, different or unique way of doing things? Have you accomplished more, achieved greater or done better as a result? Do you think you’ve got the talent to help others achieve a similar level of success? If so, then we want to feature YOU as part of the program for the TAPT 35th Annual Conference.
For the next few months, the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (TAPT) is accepting workshop and/or demonstration proposals for the conference to be held in Corpus Christi next summer. Winning proposals and speakers will be featured in workshops that will be attended by your transportation colleagues from around the state.
Interested parties are invited to submit a topic for presentation as a “Case Study”. Proposals should feature practical information and advice although proposals can also be based on formal papers or research. All proposals must be specifically tailored to meet the administrative or operational needs of pupil transportation professionals.
Proposals must be received no later than December 14, 2007. Entrants will be invited to participate in the conference no later than February 28, 2008. TAPT appreciates your willingness to share your knowledge and the successes you have experienced in the operation of your department.
We are also accepting workshop ideas. We would like to know your suggestions for workshops you would like to see.
Complete the form below to submit a proposal to: Jackie Ward Program Chairman, Belton ISD Transportation Dept., 1100 Industrial Park Blvd., Belton, TX 76513. Proposals may also be e-mailed to jackie.ward@bisd.net or faxed to Jackie at (254) 215-2150.
