Active members are employed in a supervisory position with a public school district. Their position must relate to pupil transportation. Active members in good standing have the right to vote, hold office and participate in meetings.

Associate members are individuals connected with pupil transportation in a non-supervisory position. Also included in this class are vendor members. Associate members may attend all meetings: however, they are not entitled to vote or hold office.

Honorary members are active retired members. Upon retirement, active members automatically receive honorary status. Members of this class cannot vote or hold office. They are also exempt from paying dues.

TAPT members have the opportunity to attend a statewide conference and equipment show each summer. The conference allows you to mingle with more than 700 transportation pros, talk with more than 100 vendors and glean in-depth information on pupil transportation issues.
