Nominations for the Technician of the Year must be sent to Harold Stence, Transportation Dept., P.O. Box 2000, Humble, Texas 77347, before May 1, 2003. The nomination must come from the director, in a short essay type format stating why you feel your technician should be Technician of the Year. The other qualifications are as follows.
a. Must be a working technician.
b. Must have five years school transportation experience.
C. Must be a member of TAPT or TASBT in good standing.
SHOP SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR:
The nominations and qualifications are the same as for the Technician of the Year, except that your nominee must be a working Shop Supervisor, Foreman, Plant Manager, Operation Manager, etc.
Hydrotex will be sponsoring this program, the prizes at this time will be a plaque and a $1000.00 scholarship.
