My name is Kenneth L. Coleman, I am running for the office of Historian for the 2022-23 school year. I am currently Assistant Director of Transportation for Spring I.S.D Transportation. Forty-one years of school transportation experience has afforded me numerous opportunities to serve the students of Texas through the many facets of the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation. I have served on the TAPT Executive Committee as Area 1 Director, Parliamentarian, and Historian. President, President-Elect, Program Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Panhandle Chapter, as well as a charter member of this chapter. I hold a Transportation Administrator Professional Certification with the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation and Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification. I have been a member of TAPT since 1984.
Betty and I have 5 children, 8 grandchildren which we enjoy as much time as possible.
It would be an honor to serve the students of Texas and the membership of TAPT as your Historian for the 2022-23 school year.
