League City Postponed - Texas Association for Pupil Transportation

We regret to announce that due to the uncertainty of the rolling blackouts, other weather related issues, and with your best interest at heart, we must postpone the TAPT Professional Development Classes this weekend in League City. This also applies to the TASBT Technician Classes that were scheduled this weekend in Alvin ISD and the Gulf Coast Winter Conference and Trade Show scheduled for Monday has been cancelled.

TAPT and TASBT are already in discussions about rescheduling and as soon as people are back to work and some of the internet issues are resolved, we will try to reschedule a date for both TAPT and TASBT classes.

If you made a reservation with South Shore Harbour Resort in the TAPT room block, those reservations will be cancelled by the hotel. If you made other reservations, then you will need to make the cancellation yourself. If you cannot get through to the hotel due to phone and internet issues they are experiencing, then try going online through Reservations.

We certainly appreciate the great response and excitement for the classes that we received...and cannot tell you how much we were looking forward to seeing you all! But please stand by...we will try again!!!

The Gulf Coast Winter Conference and Trade Show scheduled for Monday has been cancelled. Many of the attendees and visitors were experiencing travel difficulties due to the weather.

We hope that you are all warm and safe and that if you have lost power that it will resume very soon.

The TAPT office lost power and closed temporarily as a result. Once services have been restored the office will reopen.

Take care and if you have questions, please do not hesitate to email marisa@tapt.com.
