I am Tiffany Sootoo, currently serving as Director of Transportation for Lufkin ISD. I moved into this position in April of 2022. My previous position was with Bellville ISD, were I had the pleasure of Leading that Transportation as Director for 3 years. I have had the honor to serve on the Board of GCAPT for the past 4 years and retired that position when I came to Region 7. It has been a pleasure getting to know ETAPT group and becoming a member here in this region. The commitment of the last 18 years of my career have been in pupil transportation. I have grown in various positions in this Industry; including starting out as a Driver then Driver/Trainer along with a year and a half completion of a Transportation Internship. My next lateral move was to a Regular Ed Supervisor position. In the midst of working to be well rounded, I took on the honorable challenge of Special Needs Supervisor. These lifelong steps have placed me in the Director position, which I have held as a Director going on 4 years now. I have a TAPT Official Certification and Train the Trainer Certification. I strive to be a leader that is collaborative with peers, seeking ways to facilitate positive change in this industry. In addition, I am inspired by exploring improved solutions and approaches to challenges as well as promoting safety in our industry.

My heart lies in the Training and keeping our kiddoes safe. My passion is in the Teaching and the growing of others to espier greatness within themselves. My hope is to always be thought of as having a Servitude Attitude and Christian Disposition. It would be my pleasure to serve as your TAPT Area 4 Director. God Bless.
